Maintenance Electrician
Night shift, overtime as requested

fischer Canada is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team.

The Maintenance Electrician position is responsible to repair, troubleshoot, install, maintain, dismantle, calibrate and overhaul machinery as required. Uses plans and blueprints to complete installations, perform overhauls and implement improvement measures using both hand and power tools. Works according to schedule within a fast-paced automotive environment. Preventative maintenance inspections will be performed to ensure company standards of machine performance.  Minimum 1-2 years related experience in a manufacturing environment. Overhead crane, tow motor, aerial lifts and measuring devices (such as: micrometer, height indicator, etc.) experience is an asset.

Must possess a valid trades license – Ontario or Journeyman Certificate of Qualification for the trade of Electrician.

• Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques of equipment problems.
• General knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Must own Toolbox/Tools to carry out tasks.
