Fabricator / Maintenance Support

Day shift, overtime as requested

 

The Fabricator and Maintenance Support designs and custom fabricates numerous types of safety and efficiency projects. This position requires problem solving skills to repair/upgrade worn or broken mechanical components and machines. Able to communicate clearly in English (both verbal and written). High school diploma or GED certificate required. College diploma or Certificate in Welding and Fabrication, Mechanical Techniques - Industrial Millwright, or equivalent and 1-2 years working experience as a Welder and/or Fabricator.

 

CWB certification (preferred)

  • Creative problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Receptive to new ideas, change and continual improvement. Capable of moving ideas into actions.
  • Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques of equipment problems.
  • Experience with GMAW, GTAW, MIG, TIG, STICK welding, plasma cutter, and SMAW oxyfuel torches.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding drawings and blueprints.
  • Must own Toolbox/ Tools to carry out tasks.
